Festus Set To Approve A Contractor For Water Main Replacement Near Edgewood Lane

(FESTUS) The City of Festus is close to officially approving a contractor to handle the water main replacement project in an around Edgewood Lane. Residents in that region of town have unfortunately been dealing with water quality issues for quite some time. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says the city council will approve the contractor on Monday night.

Camp says he and the council moved as quickly as possible to make these much-needed improvements happen.

The work to replace the water main in the Edgewood Lane area could start as soon as two weeks.
