Ground Broken on Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Rock Township Ambulance Joint Building

(IMPERIAL, HILLSBORO) Work has now started on the building of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Rock Township Ambulance District joint facility. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday evening at the building location on Lions Den Road in the Seckman Valley in Imperial. Sheriff Dave Marshak says it was a nice gathering to celebrate the partnership.
Sheriff Marshak says the property was owned by the Dierks family and spoke on some of the history of that area.
Sheriff Marshak says the location is perfect for a heavily populated pocket of the county.
The building should take about a year to be completed, with a target timeline in the spring of 2025.
