Southeast Missouri Special Olympics Track & Field Competition Saturday in Cape Girardeau
(Cape Girardeau) 330 athletes from all over will be at Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday for a great event.
It’s the Southeast Missouri Special Olympics Track and Field Competition.
Penny Williams is the development director for the Special Olympics in the Southeast Area of the state.

Williams says there will be several athletes from the Regional Radio listening area competing in a plethora of events Saturday.

The Special Olympics Track and Field Meet for Southeast Missouri gets underway Saturday morning at 9:15 with opening ceremonies on the track at Cape Notre Dame.
Competition begins at 9:45 and Williams expects the event to conclude at about 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
Admission is free.
