Two Informational Meetings Concerning James Hardie Roadwork This Week

(FESTUS, CRYSTAL CITY) The first of two public meetings concerning roadways that will be modified for the James Hardie manufacturing plant will take place this week. Jefferson County Executive Dennis Gannon says the first meeting takes place tonight (Wednesday 4/24) at Jefferson R-7 High School Performing Arts Center.

Gannon says the other meeting will take place tomorrow (Thursday 4/25) night in the Festus area.

Again tonight’s (Wednesday) meeting will take place at 5 PM until 7 PM at the Performing Arts Center on the Jefferson R-7 High School campus. Tomorrow (Thursday) night’s meeting will be held also from 5 until 7 at the VFW Post 3777 in Festus.

Work on the roadways included in phase one of the project will begin later this spring and continue into the fall.
